Purposes

The purpose of the Workshop is to review recent advances in our understanding the nature of particle interactions, theories of the electron, photon and neutrino beyond the standard model; their relevance to the explanation of several puzzles in modern quantum theory; and to recent experiments on neutrino mass and superluminal phenomena.

General Information

The Workshop will be held on the campus of Zacatecas University. The dates of the Workshop have been chosen so that this Workshop immediately preceds the International Conference on the Clifford Algebras and Their Applications in Ixtapa-Zihuataneco, Mexico.

The city of Zacatecas is located in the mountains of central Mexico. Zacatecas is about 2,500 m above sea level. In June the climate in is rather mild with the temperature about +25 degree Celcius at noon and +15 degrees at midnight. It is advised that you bring umbrellas as there is a good possibility of rain. Zacatecas airport is about 20 minutes from the campus and the hotel ``Don Miguel" where a limited number of rooms have been reserved. Participants who prefer another hotel must make their own reservations. A list of hotels is attached. Smoking is permitted on the campus. Arrival should be scheduled for Tuesday, June 22; sessions will begin Wednesday, June 23, at 9:30 am; departure is on Saturday, June 26, 1999 after 2:00 pm. If you are interested in participating, please fill the registration form attached below and mail it to the address below.
